This documentary, “A Plastic Ocean,” was released in 2016. This film looks into the environmental impacts of pollution and how it is impacting animals and our planet.

The relevance of this documentary has only grown throughout the years since. Just this year, the use of alternatives to especially straws, but also other plastic items has grown significantly. Bans against straws have been seen all over the country and across the world.

Many people also have been pointing out that straws are not going to solve the problem. This documentary is great evidence of that. There is so much information provided about how man made pollution of physical garbage and non-biodegradable items is ruining our planet.
